Dr. David Espigares - DVM, MSc, PhD - Corporate Veterinary Services Manager
Dr. David Espigares is Corporate Veterinary Services Manager at Ceva Animal Health. He is responsible for providing global technical support for the enteric range. David graduated from the University of Murcia (Spain) with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He then completed a Master's in Pharmaceutical Marketing, followed by a second Master's in Veterinary Clinical Trials Management at the European University of Madrid. He later earned a PhD in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Murcia by studying the behaviour of maternal antibodies in piglets against Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae Apx toxins in collaboration with the Swine and Poultry Infectious Diseases Research Centre (CRIPA) at the University of Montreal in Canada. He then obtained a postgraduate degree in biostatistics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Prior to joining Ceva in 2015, he worked as a swine field practitioner in Spain for 12 years.
